Job summary

ASTEMO ROCK SPRING, INC. is seeking a Furnace Operator to join our Casting team on-site in Rock Spring, GA. This non-exempt, full-time role supports the melting and casting process across three shifts with a focus on safe, efficient operation and quality control.

You will assist leads in operating equipment, monitor processes, perform basic maintenance, and participate in safety and training programs to contribute to production goals and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Coursework or certifications in casting or related field are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate/maintain casting melt process and equipment following procedures.
• Monitor casting process, inspect quality, report defects to leads and supervisors.
• Support routine maintenance on furnace/equipment including cleaning and lubrication.
• Assist in setup/changeover of furnace/equipment under supervision.
• Follow safety guidelines and keep work area clean and organized.
• Participate in training to enhance casting knowledge and skills.
