Job summary

Nucor Steel Kingman, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to implement Meltshop production and process improvements using data and teamwork, focusing on cost reduction, safety and productivity.

The role requires collaboration with Melt Shop Operations, Maintenance, and Metallurgical personnel to optimize melt shop processes and meet division goals. Applicants should have experience in process improvement through analysis, knowledge of melting and casting, and proficiency in Visual Basic and SQL

Qualifications

• Experience in process improvement through analysis.
• Experience in failure analysis and corrective action.
• Knowledge of melting and casting processes.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic and SQL programming.
• Experience with control, operation, and optimization of EAF, billet caster, material handling equipment, and robotics.
• Minimum 1-year experience applying engineering principles in a manufacturing environment.

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Kingman, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Process Engineer. The Process Engineer will primarily focus on implementing Meltshop production and process improvements using analytical tools, data, and teamwork and to develop and execute actions. This includes cost reduction and process optimization. The successful candidate will work closely with Melt Shop Operations, Maintenance, and Metallurgical personnel to optimize our melt shop processes and meet division goals with a focus on safety, continuous improvement, cost, and productivity. Preferences:
