Job summary

Neenah Foundry Company is seeking an entry-level Melt operator to support molding lines. The role requires tolerance for a loud, warm environment and standing for long periods, with safe handling of molten metal. Cross-training opportunities are available across production tasks.

Shifts include 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with 8–12 hour options and overtime as production needs. Base pay starts at $27.51/hour with shift premiums and probationary increases after 60 working days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow work instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Cannot be afraid of heights.

Responsibilities

• Monitor furnace conditions and take readings.
• Demonstrate ability to charge the cupola.
• Break up returns and move/process materials.
• Operate yard crane to weigh charge metals and load/unload rail cars.
• Maintain cleanliness of production area and yard.
• Receive and process scrap.
