Job summary

Wilsonart in Fletcher, NC is seeking a skilled maintenance/operator to help operate and maintain the Melamine treaters, ensuring material is cut to length and wound neatly. You will support setup, run re-winders, and uphold visual quality while following ISO procedures.

Regular attendance and safety compliance are essential. This role requires basic reading of tape measures, one year of related experience, and a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate/GED or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of work experience and working knowledge of computers.
• Machinery operating experience and safety procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain treater equipment to ensure properly stacked and cut material.
• Stack material according to specified length/width from Product Quality Dept.
• Continuously check and adjust for visual quality.
• Set up and run Melamine re-winders to produce neat rewinds.
• Change out treated rolls, replace cores, move with forklift to storage room.
• Change out completed pallets and replace with empties.
• Make ORACLE tags for pallets and rolls.
• Follow ISO procedures as written.
• Minimize treater downtime.
• Train to learn the Checkers position as needed.
• Regular attendance and perform other duties as required.
