Qualifications

• Knowledge of products, treaters and the treatment of raw material.
• Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
• Ability to operate lift truck equipment safely.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the Melamine department and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials and safe handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the running of rolls scheduled for treatment with management.
• Line rolls up to be treated and load on machines.
• Obtain correct rolls and prepare for staging on unwind turret.
• Check rolls for visual quality and prepare for processing.
• Prepare rolls for splicing and maintain roll tags.
• Thread and rethread machines as needed.
• Set recipe/mix on blenders to meet product specs.
• Follow ISO procedures and ensure quality during shift.
• Keep logs neat and accurate; track material runs.
• Minimize treater downtime and maintain clean area.
