Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to fulfill customer curbside orders with a focus on fast, friendly, and accurate service.

The role involves handling payments, interacting with customers, and maintaining a neat work area within the curbside area of the store. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of Meijer store experience or cashier experience, and strong communication skills.

• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills a customer’s online curbside order.
• Drives customer loyalty and satisfaction with fast, friendly curbside service and accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Maintains positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Maintains courteous and friendly attitude toward customers in person and on the phone, and responds to questions and needs.
• Resolves customer complaints quickly by contacting leadership when needed.
• Receives workflow from dashboard and fulfills orders for the day.
• Utilizes the selection process for product within the store and bags product accordingly following bagging standards.
• Stores product correctly in the staging area following food safety guidelines.
• Greets each customer and takes payment for the order to ensure an easy shopping experience.
• Maintains a clean and neat work environment.
