Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel is seeking a Meeting Services Associate in San Antonio to coordinate all details of meeting room bookings, including catering, breaks, setup, and post-event breakdown. You will work under supervision to ensure smooth events and outstanding guest experiences for our clients.

The role requires clear English communication, the ability to manage inventory and order levels, and availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Rise.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel operations is preferred.
• Ability to manage catering, events and meeting room requests.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meeting room bookings and related services.
• Arrange catering, breaks and setup for events.
• Manage customer requests and event inventory.
• Ensure accurate records and communicate with guests throughout events.

BASIC FUNCTION & JOB DUTIES:

Under general supervision, coordinates all details in regarding meeting room bookings. Including, but not limited to catering services, breaks, set up, break down of meeting rooms and customer requests.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Requires ability to take and give clear written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly. Requires ability to communicate in a friendly manner with guests in order to create a warm, comfortable, relaxing environment. Requires knowledge of hotel accommodations and community. Requires ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels. Will be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
