Job summary

HistoSonics, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Test Engineer in Plymouth, MN to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks across unit, API, integration, and system levels.

You will partner with development teams to bake testability in from the start and perform exploratory testing where automation is not yet practical. The role requires 2+ years in software testing, familiarity with NUnit/JUnit/pytest, and experience in Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on producing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of Software Testing in the SDLC; medical device instrumentation software preferred.
• Demonstrated software development in C#, Java, Python, or similar OO language and building automated test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Interact with product teams to understand testing objectives.
• Contribute to automated test frameworks and reusable test infra at unit, API/integration, and system levels.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities in Agile/Scrum sprints.
• Create test plans and test cases linked to requirements with traceability.
• Develop and execute automated and unit tests; analyze and report results.
• Write and review test code to production standards using Git or similar.
