Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking engineering graduate students for the Research & Development Leadership Development Program (R&D LDP) - Summer 2027 Internship. You will gain hands-on experience across R&D platforms and participate in classroom training and cross-functional projects.

Locations include Irvine, Santa Clara, Redwood City, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Raritan; the program leads to potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current graduate students enrolled in an engineering graduate program.
• Preferred majors include bioengineering, computer, electrical, mechanical, material science, robotics, systems, software, or optical engineering.
• Strongly preferred skills in ML, IoT, embedded software, prototyping, robot design, and hardware integration.
• Understanding of ethical AI and compliance with industry standards.
• Ability to rapidly learn and adopt new AI tools.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the U.S. for rotations.
• Minimum GPA 3.3 preferred.
• Leadership experience and prior R&D internship with J&J highly preferred.
