Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support QA inspections across the production lifecycle, from raw materials to finished assemblies. You will work with QA engineers to ensure documentation aligns with GMP and internal standards, and you will help maintain device history records and proper material disposition.

The role requires medical device QA experience, ability to read plans and travelers, and meticulous documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Quality Inspector or advanced studies in relevant technical discipline required.
• 3+ years of related experience in medical device quality inspection preferred.
• Experience with FDA, QSRs, ISO 13485 preferred.
• Experience with QAD preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as travelers, plans, sketches and diagrams.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision, and in team environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection activities to ensure quality of products and raw materials.
• Handle fixtures and equipment correctly and safely.
• Follow GMP requirements in inspection records and documentation.
• Edit and archive quality records for compliance and retrievability.
• Release subassemblies and assemblies by reviewing Device History Records (DHRs) and ERP transactions.
• Notify cross functional departments on dispositions and holds.
