Job summary

BD in the United States is seeking a Shift Leader to train new production associates and assign tasks to meet schedules. You will ensure manufacturing per specifications and regulatory standards (QSR, ISO 13485, Safety) and lead teams in daily operations.

The role requires 2–5 years' experience in pharma/medical device manufacturing, an Associate Degree, and strong math and computer skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, with opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 2–5 years experience operating manufacturing equipment in pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Exposure to Shift Leader duties or proven leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Train new production associates and associates assigned to new tasks.
• Assign employees to various jobs to meet production schedules.
• Ensure products manufactured per specifications and ISO/QSR standards.
• Lead production operations to ensure procedures are followed.
• Verify setups and line clearances; maintain clean, orderly areas.
• Participate in 5S, BDPS, PVD Boards and continuous improvement.
• Review production documentation and ensure DHRs are completed.
• Submit accurate production reports to Accounting.
• Maintain acceptable quality levels and safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory and equipment maintenance notifications.
