Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and update medical devices in hospitals across the United States. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and an on-site team, while developing leadership skills and expanding into new opportunities.

A flexible schedule and travel are involved. Responsibilities include testing and configuring hardware/software, organizing workstations, and managing timelines to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related technical experience required.
• 3+ years in field technical role with hardware/software installations preferred.
• Experience in field service, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, or IT is preferred.
• Prior military veterans with electronics/maintenance/IT MOS encouraged to apply!
• Professional business acumen including communication and soft skills required.
• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing, and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
• Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.
• Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Manage project timelines and customer needs.
