Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/advanced degree in EE/CE/BME or related field.
• 10+ years in medical device product development bringing Class II+ devices to market.
• Deep expertise in electronics design tools, embedded C/C++, firmware, and signal processing.
• Experience navigating design controls, V&V, risk analysis, and regulatory submissions.
• Startup mindset with high ownership and cross-functional leadership.
• US-based eligible to work; SC/Charleston area relocation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across electronics and software for biosensor devices.
• Direct external contractors and contract manufacturers; set direction and ensure quality.
• Oversee in-house post-delivery operations, refurbishment, and field performance monitoring.
• Manage full product lifecycle from architecture to post-market surveillance.
• Develop technical roadmaps and manage budgets, timelines, and IP strategy.
• Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and cybersecurity.
