Qualifications

  • Education: High school or equivalent; vocational school preferred.
  • Experience: typically 1–2 years of assembly experience or progression from Assembler I.
  • Skills: able to read instructions, blueprints, and schematics; basic soldering and assembly skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, align, and join components and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
  • Install and route wiring per diagrams and work instructions; perform soldering.
  • Read blueprints and BOMs to ensure correct assembly.
  • Conduct quality checks to meet specifications and standards.
  • Operate basic test equipment to verify functionality of assemblies.
  • Support packaging and final inspection; document results as needed.
  • Maintain organized workstations and track materials.
  • Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements; handle materials safely.
  • Troubleshoot routine issues; escalate complex problems.
