Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital seeks a Staff Nurse to provide direct patient care across the lifecycle, apply nursing processes, and coordinate care with the health team. The role emphasizes adherence to organizational policies and ongoing professional growth.

Required are a nursing program graduate and an active Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC license with BLS; PRN shifts may be available. New graduates are eligible, with bachelor’s degree and specialty certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)

Responsibilities

• Staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• Coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
