Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide lifelong care from birth through the lifecycle, following nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while aligning with organizational standards.

This full‑time role requires Georgia RN licensure and BCLS, with a recognized nursing education; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. New graduates are welcome; hospital experience is beneficial for PRN or inpatient positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
