Baldwin Health is seeking a MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care in a PRN, days shift on the MedSurg unit in Foley, AL. The RN collaborates with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure quality outcomes and compassionate care for patients and families.

The role requires strong assessment, medication administration, patient education, and adherence to safety and infection control standards, with opportunities to participate in performance improvement initiatives

Qualificações

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required.
• RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred according to facility guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Document assessments and findings accurately for care planning.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
• Participate in audits, chart reviews, and performance improvement activities.
