Job summary

Medical Center Enterprise is seeking a MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care on the Medical/Surgical unit. The role supports assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, in collaboration with the care team.

The RN will administer medications, monitor patient status, educate patients and families, and participate in code team activities. 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience is expected, with required state RN licensure and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP

Qualifications

• 0-2 years clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure (state or compact) required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
• Documents care and education in the medical record.
