Job summary

Jefferson Health in Center City Philadelphia is seeking a registered nurse to deliver comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process to address physical, emotional, and social needs of diverse patients.

Develop individualized plans with patients and designated care partners, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and collaborate with inter-professional teams to improve outcomes. RN licensure required; BSN strongly preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN strongly preferred or completed within 3 years of hire.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and collaboration with patients and care partners.
• Understanding of diverse backgrounds and cultures to support respectful care.
• Effective communication and delegation within a team.
• Ability to assess patients and implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff adhering to Jefferson's values.
