Job summary

Proficio Inc is seeking an experienced MEDR Threat Engineer to advance endpoint EDR visibility, detection, and prevention technologies. You will collaborate with engineering, project managers, and SIEM teams to deliver major feature enhancements and robust threat management capabilities.

The role requires 4+ years of IT experience and 3+ years with deployment or maintenance of enterprise EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, or SentinelOne.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT experience in a professional environment.
• 3+ years deploying, configuring or maintaining Enterprise EDR solutions including CrowdStrike, Defender or SentinelOne.
• Experience with other security tools like SIEM, SOC workflows and threat management.
• Knowledge of endpoint security concepts across Windows, macOS and Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for initiatives enhancing EDR visibility, detection and prevention across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Develop and enhance SOAR workflows and playbooks integrated with EDR systems for incident response.
• Define and maintain strategy for EDR features and collaborate with SOC and SIEM teams.
• Interpret threat trends and translate into use cases and product enhancements.
• Maintain endpoint security tooling and assist customers with vulnerabilities and threats.
• Improve detection/response efficiency and escalate incidents to customers via ITSM tools.
