This position focuses on the safe operation and upkeep of electrical systems that serve the entire campus. The work helps ensure a stable power supply for the facility and supports overall hospital operations. As a Medium Voltage Electrician, you will perform the following duties:

• System Operation: Handle tasks related to operating and maintaining medium voltage equipment
• Generator Maintenance: Conduct weekly preventative maintenance and test runs on emergency standby generators
• Equipment Monitoring: Check substation readings, monitor distribution boards, and take action when issues arise
• Electrical Repair: Use diagrams, splice kits, and tools to diagnose problems and repair electrical systems
• Safety Compliance: Follow all required safety rules, procedures, and documentation standards

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours/week
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Travel and overtime as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Five years of journey-level experience in the electrical trade; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Condition of Employment

• This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
