Job summary

Hupp Electric Motors Inc is seeking a Medium Motors Mechanic to join our Midwest repair facility. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium-sized motors to minimize downtime and ensure safety and reliability for our customers.

We offer training on first shift with a move to 2nd or 3rd shift as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and formal automotive/mechanical training; ASE certification is preferred and experience with diagnostic equipment is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal training program or apprenticeship in automotive or medium motor mechanics.
• Proven experience working as a mechanic on medium-sized motors.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on medium-sized motors to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and manual inspection, then execute repairs or replacements of faulty components.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
• Collaborate with other technicians and service personnel to ensure timely and efficient completion of repair jobs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
