Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Mangino Buick & GMC is currently seeking a Medium Diesel Technician who is highly competent and eager to join our growing team. Mangino Dealerships are family-operated and highly respected, with a steadfast dedication to their principles. The Mangino Family has been delivering exceptional service to the Upstate NY region and its neighboring states for more than two decades. Recognized for the development of numerous GM World Class Technicians who accomplished this success while working for the Mangino Family. All of whom have maintained their employment with the organization. Join our Service Department to elevate your automotive career to the next level.

Responsbilities:

• Inspecting and repairing vehicles with diesel engines
• Running diagnostic tests
• Handling routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
• Interpreting diagnostic test results
• Writing detailed inspection reports and repair plans
• Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using testings equipment
• Cleaning or performing maintenance work
• Operating and inspecting mechanical equipment to diagnose defects
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• General Motors & Diesel Engine Repair knowledge
• Possesses own toolbox and tools
• Valid Drivers License
• NYS Inspection License

• $30-$40 an hour dependent on experience

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:30 to 6:00 pm
• Rotating Saturday - Number of Saturdays are dependent upon staffing and business need
