Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive engines, including a minimum of 3 years preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty repairs and diagnostics.
• Obtaining a CDL is necessary within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive and diagnostic work.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine issues.

• Hourly Pay: $31.00 per hour
• Certification Bonus of $100 for each new ASE certification obtained, up to $700

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive engines, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, AC, and electrical systems
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferred
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• All certifications required by location

Additional Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty repairs and diagnostics
• Computer skills: PC, Windows, etc.

This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To become an employee, you must:

• Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check, and motor vehicle check

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive and diagnostic work
• Work independently on tasks
• Perform facility maintenance duties
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine issues
• Use shop management systems and documentation
• Comply with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Mentor junior technicians
• Access and utilize maintenance documents
• Support operational duties, including service island support
• Complete OEM diagnostic courses as required
