Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a seasoned Cook I - Sotogrande to join our opening team. You will deliver distinctively Mediterranean culinary experiences to guests under the direction of the Sous Chef, contributing to a high-volume kitchen known for excellence.

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will prepare Mediterranean dishes, maintain food logs, and ensure quality and consistency while upholding safety standards and professional conduct in a luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in Mediterranean or similar culinary settings preferred.
• Degree from a technical, trade, or vocational school in culinary arts highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and guests.
• Prepare special Mediterranean meals and substitute items while infusing traditional flavors.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures for Mediterranean cooking.
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, and garnish reflecting Mediterranean aesthetics.
