You will independently conduct synthesis from milligram to multi-gram scales, explore new methods, and interact with global teams while upholding safety.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in synthetic organic chemistry with 2–5 years of relevant postgrad experience.
• Strong knowledge of multi-step synthesis and drug substance preparation.
• Excellent observation, organization and data/documentation skills.
• Interest in green and sustainable synthesis methods.

Responsibilities

• Independently, effectively and safely conduct task-oriented synthesis and purification from milligram to multi-gram scale.
• Anticipate potential synthetic pitfalls and explore alternative routes/conditions.
• Deploy innovative synthetic methods for pharmaceutically relevant building blocks and drug substances.
• Collaborate globally with internal and external chemistry teams.
• Perform structural and stereochemical elucidation.
• Adhere to laboratory safety policies.
