Job summary

Aventura at Oakwood Village Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to join our care team. You will administer medications, support daily care, and help maintain a safe, respectful living environment for residents.

You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor residents, document administrations accurately, and assist with ADLs as needed.

Ohio state requirements apply, CPR/First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain; prior assisted living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must meet Ohio state requirements for Medication Technician/Medication Aide.
• Prior experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Accurately document medication administration and report any errors or concerns.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report findings to the nurse or supervisor.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and mobility as needed.
• Maintain medication carts, storage areas, and records in a clean and organized manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and team members.

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medication Technician to join our assisted living team. The Med Tech is responsible for safely administering medications to residents, supporting daily care needs, and ensuring a comfortable, respectful living environment. This role works closely with nursing staff to promote the health and well-being of our residents.

Qualifications:

• Must meet Ohio state requirements for Medication Technician/Medication Aide

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
