Job Overview

  • Perform medication administration and resident care following policies and procedures
  • Maintain safety, infection control, and documentation standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality resident care
Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as directed, document accurately, and report medication errors
  • Perform vital signs, emergency procedures, and post-mortem care as needed
  • Assist residents with daily activities, ensuring dignity and safety
  • Complete all required documentation in EMR
  • Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with residents and families
Qualifications
  • Completed Medication Technician coursework and validation in the state
  • At least 6 months experience as a Medication Technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ years old
  • Good standing in the state healthcare registry; no abuse or neglect findings
  • Genuine concern for geriatric residents, respectful, and team-oriented
