Job summary

Ridgeview Health Center in Kentucky seeks a dedicated Medication Technician to assist residents with medications under supervision. You will safely prepare and document medications, support daily living activities, and help maintain resident independence.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, student or equivalent.
• Completion of required RCFE training as Medication Technician.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience as a caregiver in a facility or in-home caregiving.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Legally Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• The Medication Technician assists resident with medications under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Safely prepares and aides with resident self-administration of medications.
• Maintains accurate medication documentation and records.
• Guides the resident in maintaining daily activities while preserving independence.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
