Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician in California. The role involves supervising and assisting with medication administration for residents, while providing direct personal care and supporting activities to promote independence.

Qualifications include at least 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred experience in RCFE. Training/certification may be required; MS Office skills are helpful for record-keeping and coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with medication in a RCFE preferred
• Completion of state-required training/certification may be required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus
• Able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to interact with residents, families, and staff

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies
• Maintain accurate confidential medication and care records
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments
