Job summary

Frontier Senior Living's The Greens community in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a Medication Technician to assist in both Assisted Living and Memory Care units.

The role administers medications, monitors resident conditions, and collaborates with the care team to maintain safety and comfort for every resident. The position offers competitive hourly pay, day and night shifts, and opportunities to grow within a dedicated senior living team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Attends in-services monthly for the position.
• Willingness to train and work with the elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments per schedule and protocol.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents and staff.
• Notifies care coordinators of changes in resident condition.
• Assists with monthly medication records as needed.
• Maintains clean, organized med room and cart.
• Capable of handling basic equipment and assisting with transfers as directed.
• Accurate vital signs and weights as needed.
• Fill in for receptionist or caregiver when required.
• Assist with resident care needs and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Remain current on First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
