Job summary

Sherbrooke Village is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our care team in Missouri. You will administer medications, monitor residents' health, and collaborate with licensed nurses to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Valid CMT certification in Missouri required.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to communicate effectively in English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs as assigned.
• Notifies licensed staff of resident pain or changes in condition.
• Records medication administration in the resident chart and computer system.
• Responds to resident call lights and checks on residents as assigned.
• Observes for and reports adverse drug reactions or side effects to a licensed nurse.
• Maintains safety and quality in all resident care activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
