Prismhr Hire is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to support residents with daily medication management and administration. You will help residents with self-administration, monitor for adverse reactions, and maintain accurate medication records in a collaborative care setting.

Qualifications

• Must complete a Medication Technician training program for self-administration assistance.
• Experience in healthcare or assisted living is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication management, including helping with self-administration and ensuring correct dosages.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report concerns to the Supervisor.
• Keep accurate records of medication assistance and changes to regimens.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers to meet medication needs with the wellness coordinator.
• Maintain the medication cart and ensure proper storage and security of meds.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize errors or accidents in medication administration.
