Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Medication Technician to ensure the medication room runs efficiently and stays organized. You will assist with inventory, answer calls, verify patient information for co-pays, restock supplies, and help deliver prepackaged medications to patients.

Under direct supervision, you will label medications, assist with dispensing, and ensure timely delivery. This healthcare role involves interaction with patients, families, and medical staff in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and delivering medications under direct supervision of dispensing provider.
• Prepare medications for provider dispensing according to prescription.
• Process daily refills.
• Order pharmaceuticals and stock drugs.
• Complete inventory and expiry reports as detailed in the handbook.
• Collaborate with corporate team to update processes.
• Collect patient information for prescription and billing.
• Maintain filing systems for multiple procedures.
• Assist with pharmacy claims adjudication and resolve rejections when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
