Encore Communities is seeking a Medication Technician in Silverdale, WA to administer medications and treatments in assigned areas, while supporting safe practices and quality resident care.

Responsibilities include charting medications, taking vitals, stocking carts, and notifying nurses of any adverse drug effects. The role emphasizes accuracy, infection control, and resident rights within a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid state CNA or home care aide certification.
• 1-2 years working in a memory care facility preferable.
• Valid CPR/First aid card.
• Covid vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records of medication and treatments given.
• Set up and pass oral medications as prescribed.
• Make proper chart entries regarding residents' medications.
• Take and record residents' temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rate.
• Stock and prepare medication cart for rounds and always observe safe and secure practices.
• Observe and notify nurse of any negative drug effects or interactions and assist in resident care emergencies.
