Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of medication and treatments given.
• Set up and pass oral medications as prescribed.
• Make proper chart entries regarding residents’ medications.
• Take and record residents’ vital signs.
• Stock and prepare medication cart for rounds.
• Observe and notify nurse of any negative drug effects.
