Job summary

The Evergreen Inn in Vancouver, WA is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to join our Agemark Senior Living community. In this full-time role you’ll administer medications, document accurately, and support residents in maintaining independence with dignity.

You’ll work with a caring team, build relationships with residents and families, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment. Qualifications include WA state Medication Technician certification, strong English communication, and

  • WA state Medication Technician certification or qualifications required by Washington state.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to serve older adults.

Responsibilities

  • Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
  • Accurately document medication administration and maintain electronic records.
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the nursing team.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
  • Support a safe, welcoming, and positive community environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.

What We’re Looking For
  • Current Medication Technician certification or qualifications required by Washington state.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to serve older adults.
  • Basic computer skills for medication documentation.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
