Oakmont Management Group in Irvine, CA, manages Ivy Living communities and is seeking a Medication Technician at the Los Gatos site. The role involves supervising and assisting in medication administration, delivering direct personal care, and supporting residents to participate in activities.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of RCFE medication assistance experience, is 18+, with a HS diploma (LVN a plus), and can pass background checks and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of experience assisting with medication at a RCFE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
