Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities in Allentown, PA is seeking a Medication Technician to manage residents' medications in a home-like setting. Training is provided to advance your career.

You will observe residents, provide social and emotional support, and maintain an orderly medication cart to ensure safety and quality care. High school diploma or GED required; English proficiency essential; current med certification preferred.

• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this role.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents, getting to know them personally while administering medications and treatments, observing their day-to-day behavior and outlook and ensuring their comfort and overall positive well-being.
• Provide social and emotional support, while encouraging residents’ independence.
• Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.
