Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Medication Technician (CNA) to provide medication administration for residents and support daily care operations, including vital signs and safety checks, in a warm, patient-centered environment.

The role requires either a CNA credential or completion of the 75-hour course and the company Medication Administration course; must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and carry out nursing procedures with attention to safety and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) credential or completion of the 75-hour course and the company Medication Administration course.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly or at least ten times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication administration for residents.
• Takes orders, documents orders, orders medications, receives medications, and administers medications.
• Performs all procedures of good nursing care such as taking vital signs and basic nursing procedures.
• Performs all universal precaution and hazardous chemical procedures to keep residents and staff safe.
• Communicates with physicians and other health care professionals as needed to ensure quality nursing and medication orders.
• Be alert to all needs of residents reporting changes in status to doctor, family, and administration.

• Performs excellent universal precaution and hazardous chemical procedures in order to keep residents and staff safe.

Job Requirements:
