Job summary

Lawrence Healthcare in Arkansas is seeking a Medication Technician/C.N.A to assist licensed nursing staff with preparing and administering daily medications as ordered by the physician. You will document in the electronic health record under supervision and respond to resident requests as needed.

• Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as a C.N.A in the state of Arkansas.
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
• Successful completion of state approved Medication Administration and hold medication aide certification.

Job Objective/Summary: The Medication Technician/C.N.A will assist licensed nursing staff by preparing and administering daily medications as ordered by the physician. The Med Tech will document within limitations in the electronic health record under the supervision of the licensed nurse. The Med Tech will also respond to Resident requests and other direct care duties as assigned.
