Job summary

Woodbury Wellness Center, Inc. seeks energetic Med Techs with CNA or PCA certification to join the Woodbury/Stonebridge Assisted Living Team. We offer full-time, part-time, PRN, and temporary contracts to suit your schedule, including opportunities for premium wages during peak periods.

Qualifications

• NC Med Tech Certification is required.
• NC CNA or PCA Certification is required.
• Covid vaccine or religious/medical exemption is required.
• Good standing with credentialing organization/NCDHHS/other regulatory agencies is required.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to supervisor.
• Document and report changes in condition.
• Provide medication setup, assistance and administration if applicable.
• Log medications from pharmacies, verify physician’s orders and communicate any concerns.
• Track all medications and re-order as needed.
• Track residents' vital signs, diabetic testing and/or insulin injections, ambulation, etc.
• Assist residents with ADLs.
• Demonstrate a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
• Promote and protect residents' rights and treat residents with dignity and respect.
• Attend in-service and education programs and obtain continuing education required by state regulations.
• Demonstrate the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident’s information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain professional appearance by adherence to community dress code.
• Complete documentation in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Report all changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor as soon as possible.
• Complete work schedules and assigned tasks in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the community.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner and only utilize equipment once proper training has occurred.
• Utilize Infection Control precautions and practices with all activities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Schedule

• 12 hour shift schedules available

• May have to work extra/extended hours as needed
• Reports for duty as scheduled
