Job summary

QSL Management is seeking Medication Technicians for The Barclay at Midlothian in Virginia. Positions available include Full Time and Part Time across all shifts. Provide safe medication administration, document resident status, and support dining and activities to enhance resident well‑being.

Candidates must hold a Virginia Medication Technician license, CPR/First Aid, and a high school diploma or GED. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Medication Technician License issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
• CPR/First Aid required or able to obtain within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed; distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
