Job summary

Baker Place Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to join our assisted living team on a per diem/part-time basis. You will assist with medication administration and support the care team to deliver high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, documenting activities, and collaborating with nurses and families to ensure safety and comfort. Training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medication Technician (Med-Tech) required.
  • Experience in an assisted living or similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Per Diem / Part Time

Baker Place Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med-Tech to join our assisted living team on a part-time basis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our residents by assisting with medication administration and supporting the care team in delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents according to their prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities accurately.
  • Monitor and record residents' vital signs and report any changes in health status to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with daily living activities and provide compassionate support to residents as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality care.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding medication administration and healthcare practices.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update individualized care plans for residents.
  • Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to keep current with medical best practices and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Certified Medication Technician (Med-Tech) required.
  • Previous experience in an assisted living or similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
