Job summary

Fox Run at Orchard Park is seeking a Medication Technician to deliver routine daily medications to residents, coordinating with nurses to support resident care. This per-diem role requires working with various shifts and following instructions to ensure accurate dosing.

Applicants should have a Medication Technician certification and a high school diploma or GED. Prior med tech or assisted living experience is preferred, and computer/medical software skills are desired.

Qualifications

• Medication Technician certification required.

• Med Tech Experience preferred.
• Experience with Assisted Living preferred.
• Able to use computer, medical software, and word processing programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine daily medication to residents under supervision.
• Coordinate with nurses to assist with resident care and medications.
• Record dosages and times using written or electronic systems.

ASSISTED LIVING AND MEMORY CARE

Medication Technician (per-diem, various shifts)
Under the general direction of the Program Coordinator and/or Charge Nurse, deliver routine daily medication to residents, coordinate with nurses to assist with resident care and medications, follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications and record dosages and times.

Requirements

• Medication Technician certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Med Tech Experience Preferred
• Prefer prior experience with Assisted Living
• Able to use computer, medical software, and word processing programs.

Hourly range: $17.00-$18.00 (depends on experience)
