Job summary

Pomeroy Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support resident wellness under a licensed nurse's supervision. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and contribute to a safe, caring environment for our seniors.

Qualifications include at least 1 year of Med Tech experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and comfort with EMR. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required; a team-first attitude is essential.

• Manage pharmacy deliveries, restock med carts, and ensure infection control standards
• Assist with resident meals and general care duties to ensure a seamless community experience

Opportunities Available: Full Time, Afternoons (3p-11:15p)

Walk-in Interviews Available: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Role at a Glance

As a Medication Technician, you are the heartbeat of our resident care. You’ll work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to ensure our seniors receive their treatments safely and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care: Administer medications, breathing treatments, and skin care as prescribed.
• Monitoring: Track vitals, weights, and blood sugar; report any status changes to the Wellness Director.
• Documentation: Maintain 100% accuracy in electronic medical records (EMR) and daily logs.
• Operations: Manage pharmacy deliveries, restock med carts, and ensure infection control standards.
• Team Support: Assist with resident meals and general care duties to ensure a seamless community experience.
