Job summary

The Springs Living, LLC in Portland, Oregon, is seeking compassionate Med Techs to support resident health and safety and build meaningful relationships with those they care for. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with day shifts (6 AM–2:30 PM) and potential bonus for staffing phone duties.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Previous Med Tech, Med Aide, or medication administration experience.
• Experience using an electronic medication administration record (eMAR) system.
• Genuine interest in supporting older adults and building relationships with residents.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to each resident’s care plan.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, condition, or behavior.
• Complete delegated clinical tasks such as blood sugar checks and insulin administration, as assigned.
• Take and document vital signs and maintain accurate medication and resident records.
• Communicate with nurses, physicians, pharmacies, and families as needed to support continuity of care.
• Work closely with caregivers and other team members to provide consistent, thoughtful care.

We’re looking for compassionate, dependable team members who take pride in doing things right and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.

Schedule:

Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Set Schedules Available: Day Shift 6 AM to 2:30 PM

Want to earn a little extra? Med Techs can volunteer to take the staffing phone for one week each month for an additional bonus.
