Med Tech Position Details:
The primary responsibility is to assist in administering medications to residents following regulatory guidelines, maintaining proper care records, reporting changes in resident conditions, and ensuring resident safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid Medication Aide/Technician Certification.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Successful completion of required training per state regulations.
- Minimum of one year experience working with medications and the elderly.
- Valid licenses and certifications, with ongoing education as required.
- Food Handlers Permit if mandated by state.
- Compassion for working with the elderly.
- Ability to work responsibly both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
- Honesty, fairness, dependability, confidentiality, and respect for privacy.
- Meet health requirements and pass background checks.
