Green Leaf Care Center in Lillington, NC is seeking a qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications to residents under a licensed nurse, following nursing standards and facility policies. We offer full-time and part-time roles with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the QMA registry in the state of employment.
• Pass the QMA competency evaluation program if required by the state.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use EHR software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician.
• Work under the direction of a licensed nurse within scope of practice.
• Follow established nursing standards and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides. The administration of medication shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the community policies, procedures, and practices, and the requirements of the state in which you operate.

Education/Qualifications:

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

• Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available

  • Full-Time: 7:00a - 3:00p
  • Part-Time: 3:00p - 11:00p
• Wage: Based on Experience
