Job summary

Rose Senior Living at Providence Park in Novi, MI is seeking a Medication Aide/CNA to join the Clinical department. This full-time, hourly, non-exempt role supports residents by administering medications as prescribed and assisting with daily living activities under supervision of a licensed nurse.

Shifts are 2:30pm–11:00pm with rotating weekends. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of medication-passing experience in an assisted living or memory care setting.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year experience working in Assisted Living, Memory Care or skilled setting.
• One year of medication-passing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as prescribed by the physician and documents administration, effectiveness, and any adverse reactions under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Performs resident care activities and related nonprofessional services to support personal needs and comfort.

Minimum (1) year of medication-passing experience in an assisted living or senior living community is required.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

CNA Med Tech Superhero needed!We offer a low acuity (no lifts, no 2 person assists!) and high resident to staff ratio to encourage independence and safety.Perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents. The Medication Assistant administers medications as prescribed by the physician, documents the administration, the medication effectiveness, and any noted adverse reactions or side effects under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
